Research Project
My current research project focuses on the impacts of ciliary flows on the physiological responses of scleractinian corals to environmental changes. This project primarily involves laboratory experiments using microsensor measurements (chemical microenvironments characterization) and imaging techniques (Particle Image Velocimetry, NIR imaging).
My research background has centered on evaluating the effects of global ocean changes, such as ocean acidification and warming, on hexacorals, including scleractinians and antipatharians. My previous approaches combined field observations (shallow, mesophotic) and laboratory experiments, conducted from an eco-physiological perspective.
