Career planning in research
Visit us at the Career Fair on the Jacobs University Campus
After the first academic degree life continues. A possible career at the University is not the only option, as a good academic education also opens other doors. On February 24, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. several national and international companies and research institutes will present themselves to the next generation of scientists. The main goal is networking and this means to meet the experts and talk to them.
The Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology will also be there. Dr. Christiane Glöckner will present the International Max Planck Research School of Marine Microbiology (IMPRS MarMic) which offers an international Master and PhD program in marine microbiology.
Last year in the first Career Fair there were more than 900 visitors and 23 exhibitors. This year, 31 companies and institutions have registered.
Those of you who are interested can find out more about the program and apply for the lectures .The exhibition is free for students. All lectures are in English.
