We were part of the Bremer Forschungsmeile 2024

​This year's Maritime Woche once again offered cultural and scientific, family-oriented and free highlights for all visitors. The Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology was part of the Maritime Woche on the Forschungsmeile on the Schlachteufer. As always, many Bremen research and science institutes presented themselves there, and many visitors were able to get a broad picture of Bremen's research landscape and experience a lot.

In the tent of the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, there was information and hands-on activities for young and old researchers. We presented a small insight into our research in a playful and entertaining way. Visitors had the opportunity to join us in microscopy to discover what is hidden in a drop of water, to answer exciting questions in our quiz game on the topic of "The ocean and me" and perhaps receive a small prize from our treasure chest or create their own pin badge.
